Guided visit Castell’Arquato, one of the most beautiful little towns in Italy. We walk along the winding streets, climbing up to the central square, admiring the Fontana del Duca and the Torrione, the Palazzo del Podestà and the Castle or Rocca Viscontea before going into the historic Romanesque Collegiate church.

In the afternoon, guided visit to the little mediaeval hill town of Vigoleno, still surrounded by its old walls.. We climb the keep or Torrione for a fantastic view over the Stirone valley and walk along quaint streets to the historic church of San Giorgio.
Transfer by coach to the most famous ville d’eau in northern Italy, Salsomaggiore Terme. Stroll through the town to the spa centre, the marvellous Terme Berzieri, a masterpiece of Italian Liberty or Art Nouveau.
Dinner in Piacenza with the possibility of a night visit, and overnight in a hotel in Piacenza.
Guided visit to Grazzano Visconti, famous for its picturesque corners, the frescoed buildings and quaint views. Entrance to the historic Park surrounding the Castle is included.

In the afternoon, visit the Castle of Rivalta. This richly furnished stately home reveals a succession of drawing rooms, bedrooms, kitchens, and prisons, as well as the unmistakeable tower.
