The Castle of  Grazzano Visconti opens for the first time to the public

From the month of March, it will be possible to visit the Castle of GRAZZANO VISCONTI;  The Family  Visconti di Modrone, owner of the Village of Grazzano, opens to visitors the ancient manor, placed in the heart of the magnificent romantic Park.

The foundation of the ancient residence dates back to the  13 February 1395, when the Duke Gian Galeazzo Visconti,  gives to his sister Beatrice, married Anguissola, permission to build the Castle; in the 19th century was used as land residence by the Marquis Anguissola till the propriety passage to their milanese cousins Visconti di Modrone. The castle was completely restaured, and brought back to its original aspect, meanwhile the romantic village of Grazzano was built, ti was the beginning of the 20th century.

The Castle is the summer residence of the descendents of the Duke Giuseppe Visconti di Modrone, it will open its gates to visitors schowing you the private rooms such as the Library,  the Weapon’s room,  Aloisa’s room, the Red Room …

HOW only with guided tours in programmed timetable for individual and families, ( by now only in italian) or through booking for groups of minimum 20 people ( also in a foreign language: english, french, german, spanish, portugues)

COST of the full ticket 16 euro, ticket for kids 8 euro (from 6 to 16 years old)  Ticket  REDUCED FOR GROUPS 13 euro (tourleader free) + 30 Euros supplement for foreign language,

For groups of minimum 20 persons, possibility to book the CASTLE TOUR+ the VILLAGE TOUR at 16 euro per person + 30 euro supplement for foreign language  (the service must be done in the same half day)
